Acrylic / PMMA

Acrylic / PMMA is a thermoplastic synthetic material which is known in particular for its unsurpassed transparency and which distinguishes itself from other materials through the many colour and shaping possibilities it offers. Acrylic plays with light. It is therefore understandable that this plastic is extremely popular, especially in the advertising and display industry.

Sheet acrylic / PMMA is also known as Plexiglas® and Perspex®. Acrylic can also be supplied in blocks, tubes and bars as well as in sheets.

Characteristics of acrylic / PMMA

Optically, acrylic / PMMA is a very pure material with perfect light transmission: it is clearer and stronger than glass. Plexiglas® / Perspex® sheets offer endless possibilities in terms of colours and shape, which they retain. Ideal for aesthetic applications. Due to its extreme weather resistance, low weight and many application possibilities, this material is a safe and durable alternative to glass in places where there is a high chance of breakage.
We supply both moulded and extruded acrylic, in sheet, block, tube and bar form. Any size is possible and there's also a huge choice of finishes: fluorescent, mirror, anti-reflective, metallic, matt, textured and glass-look.
